On behalf of the Board, Management and Staff of the BMF, we are sending our heartfelt appreciation for the thoughts, prayers and countless condolence messages we received from all of you within and outside the country. Your kind messages gave strong accent to  the  legacy of our farsighted leader – His Excellency Benjamin William Mkapa and consoled us in these trying times.

We are proud that at his death in his 81 years, His Excellency Mkapa life has touched and transform the lives of millions within Tanzania and beyond. So much has been done under his able guidance, watch and enabling pair of hands. We are grateful for the trust and confidence he bestowed on us and for the opportunity given to us to help translate his vision into action and his purpose into impact. We could not ask him for more. We only have much to give back to him by keeping his legacy alive and impact more generations to come.
