As all women around the world gather to celebrate international women’s day which takes place annually on 8th March with the aim of acknowledging and appreciating the success of women in the social, economic, cultural and political aspects. To support this global movement and make women at BMF feel special the Foundation organized an event to celebrate international women’s day. This short event which was attended by all staff, support staff and consultant took place at BMF offices in Dar es Salaam.

During this event women a BMF got a platform to analyze and discuss this years’ women’s day them which is Press for Progress and share experiences and suggestion of ways they could help each other to reach the global goal of eliminating gender disparity by creating a 50/50 opportunity world.
