William Jefferson Clinton, the former President of the United States of America, commenced the establishment of the &#8220;Mkapa Fellows Programme&#8221; in July 2005. This program received crucial financial backing from the Government of the Royal Kingdom of Norway. Mkapa Foundation initiated its expansion by gradually recruiting the Management team and staff. Collaboratively, the Board of Trustees, Management, and Staff undertook and expanded into various initiatives. These initiatives were geared toward addressing Human Resource for Health challenges, accelerating HIV\/AIDS and TB prevention, care, and treatment services, and providing Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn Child, and Adolescent health services within Tanzania. The Mkapa Foundation existence and the work it undertakes, serves as the sole legacy initiative of late Benjamin W. Mkapa thus its perpetuity is critical to enable reach the underserved and ensure healthy lives for all.
