Mkapa Fellows Program

Mkapa Fellows Program funded by Irish Aid focuses on enhancing national capacities to sustain community-based programs aligned with the established national level sustainability strategies for community-based programs – known as national community road map. This focus will enhance sustainability and scalability of the program supported interventions and generated best practices that will ultimately accelerate attainment of the program goals. Further, during the first year of the fourth phase, the Program will concretize and package program evidence for policy, process improvement as well as promote scalability. Emerging and prioritized cross cutting issues, such as health-climate integrated and gender mainstreaming interventions will also be part of the program scope during the year one of implementation. The program will as well sustain some site level support, focusing on prioritized region that is Dodoma as transitional interventions towards a Program Comprehensive Strategy to commence on second year of phase IV.
