Mr. Steve Kisakye

Mr. Steve Kisakye is an expert in leading development programs within the African region. His extensive 20 years of experience covers different industries, including health, agriculture, mining, and finance. He is currently the Partner of AXUM, an Afrocentric Impact Firm that is driving sustainable progress across Africa and the Middle East. Mr. Kisakye has held various technical and leadership positions including being the Global Managing Director of Dalberg Implement. He also worked for Acacia Mining Plc - Tanzania, Hygeia Foundation – Nigeria, William J. Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI) – Nigeria, Kenya, and Tanzania, as well as Médecins Sans Frontières (Spain) – Tanzania. He holds a Postgraduate in Business Improvement from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business (South Africa), attended the University of Makerere (Uganda), and attained a Major in Preventive Medicine/Community Health, and Accreditation in Project Planning & Management. Mr. Kisakye has completed the Executive Program in Early Childhood Development from Harvard University (USA), and also a Certificate in Community Relations Practice in the Extractive Industry from the University of Witwatersrand (South Africa).
